There are so many lovely beaches we just have to list some of our faves (all have facilities apart from Cwm Silio):
Cwmtydu close by & walkable
Cwm Silio close by and walkable (can only access via smugglers route bottom of Nanternis hill). Fabulous waterfall can be found (take a left off footpath).
Mwnt near Cardigan - not buggy or dog friendly. Confident driver!
Poppit Sands near Cardigan - fab for kids and doggies!
Aberporth beaches - dog friendly and great for kids
Tresaith - walk here from Aberporth along coastal path.
Penbryn - lovely National Trust area with wooded walk to beach.
Llangrannog - lovely beaches. Confident driver!
Just a 20 minute drive away Cardigan has a variety of gift shops and eateries. 'Coffee 1' and 'Food for Thought' our favourites. Both Tesco and Aldi are situated here.
Cardigan Island Coastal Park
Spectacular views across to Cardigan Island just 200 metres offshore, this unique Farm Park is located on a picturesque headland in the southern part of Cardigan Bay.
Our favourite local place to go. Lovely beaches and coffee shops, plus some great chippies and ice cream! Dolphin watching from coastal path or boat trips (Tip: head for fish farm on left of town and dolphins possibly around in the morning).
This pretty little town is definitely worth a visit. Painted buildings and some lovely side road shops. Best takeaway pizza shop too! Take the opportunity to visit 'Llanachaeron' (NT property) - lovely walks.
Cardigan has a number of churches where you can fellowship. See link below for New Life Church - a lively and friendly place. Look online for Churches in Wales for alternative styles of worship.
