Cardigan Town
Just a 20 minute drive away Cardigan has a variety of gift shops and eateries. 'Coffee 1' and 'Food for Thought' our favourites. Both Tesco and Aldi are situated here.

Cardigan Island Coastal Park
Spectacular views across to Cardigan Island just 200 metres offshore, this unique Farm Park is located on a picturesque headland in the southern part of Cardigan Bay.

Boat Trips Cardigan Bay
Highly recommended experience. 'A Bay To Remember' is not your classic boat trip! Do check out their website.

Cilgerran
Visit Cilgerran Castle or the Nature reserve (great coffee shop). You can walk from Cardigan to the Reserve along river footpath by bridge (river on your left).

Beaches
There are so many lovely beaches. Here's some of our faves (all have facilities apart from Cwm Silio):
Cwmtydu - 2 miles away
Cwm Silio - 2 miles along smugglers route accessed via bottom of Nanternis hill. Fabulous waterfall en-route (take a left off footpath).
Mwnt near Cardigan - not buggy or dog friendly. Confident driver!
Poppit Sands near Cardigan - fab for kids and doggies!
Aberporth beaches - dog friendly and great for kids
Tresaith - best to walk from Aberporth along coastal path.
Penbryn - lovely National Trust area with wooded walk to beach. Visit Plwmp Tart Cafe.
Llangrannog - lovely beaches. Confident driver!
New Quay and Cai Bach
Cenarth Falls
Lovely area with a coracle museum, tea shops and pubs. Cenarth falls is famous for its salmon leaping.

Botanical Gardens Wales
In between Carmarthen and Llanelli an amazing place of over 600 acres.

New Quay
Our favourite local place to go. Lovely beaches and coffee shops, plus some great chippies and ice cream! Dolphin watching from coastal path or boat trips (Tip: head for fish farm on left of town and dolphins possibly around in the morning).

Aberaeron
This pretty little town is definitely worth a visit. Painted buildings and some lovely side road shops. Best takeaway pizza shop too! Take the opportunity to visit 'Llanachaeron' (NT property) - lovely walks.

Churches
Cardigan has a number of churches where you can fellowship. See link below for New Life Church - a lively and friendly place. Look online for Churches in Wales for alternative styles of worship.
